Seeking Help to Display CR6 Weather Data on a Website

KyleB1989 Jan 18, 2025 11:08 PM

Hello Weather Enthusiasts,

I’m working on a project to display weather data from a CR6 on our organization's website. Through some research, I’ve learned about the possibility of sending weather station data to Weather Underground, which provides an embeddable widget for websites. I’ve already set up LoggerLink on my Android device and can view the data there, but I’m a bit stuck and would love your guidance!

Here are my questions:

  1. Using LoggerLink or LoggerNet:
Can LoggerLink be used to continuously retrieve and upload CR6 data to Weather Underground, or is that something only LoggerNet can handle?

  2. Programming Assistance:
I have limited programming experience but need help understanding the steps to create and upload program files to achieve this. Where should I start, and how do I integrate these files with the CR6? Are there any additional tools or resources you recommend for someone new to this process?

  3. Running Programs on Devices:
To keep this system running, can I use a mobile device, or is it better to rely on a computer? What common mistakes have you encountered when setting up a similar system?

I’ve spent the last couple of days researching but haven’t made much progress. Any advice, resources, or guidance would mean the world to me. If you’ve tackled a similar challenge, I’d love to hear about your experience.

Thank you!
